Aparna Gazula, Ph.D.

Aparna completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences from the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, India, in 2000.  In 2004, she received a Master of Science degree in Horticultural and Crop Sciences from The Ohio State University. Her thesis was on the effects temperature and light on anthocyanin pigment levels in different leaf lettuce varieties.

Aparna received her PhD degree in Horticultural Sciences in May of 2009, from the University of Florida. Her PhD dissertation was on the impact of irrigation and nutrient management programs on fruit yields, nitrogen load, and crop value of fresh market tomatoes grown with plasticulture.
